

Richard “Rick” A. Farmer, age 46 of Columbus, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Rick was born January 29, 1964 in Cleveland and graduated from Northland High School, Columbus, in 1982. Rick was employed as Controller for Refrigeration Systems Company for the past 10 years. Rick had a fun-loving personality and enjoyed spoiling the people he loved. His favorite pastimes included bowling, following the Buckeyes, watching NASCAR and playing with his dog, Zoey and Grand-dog Mocha. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard O. Farmer and brother, Michael O. Farmer and nephew Bret LaCroix. Rick will be missed by his loving wife, Diane (Kinsey) formerly of Riverside Park; daughter, Amanda Huth; mother, Lucille Farmer; brother, Robert “Rob” (Candie) Farmer; nieces, Katarina Farmer, Kelsey Hewitt and Tara LaCroix and nephews, Michael Farmer, Andrew Hewitt, Steven (Brittany) LaCroix; great-nephew, Jaxen LaCroix; in-laws, Machele Farmer, Gale and Terry Hewitt, Deana and Bob LaCroix, Brenda Metzger and Rusty Kinsey. Special family friend, James “Woody” Woodruff and his Roosters 161 family will also miss Rick’s compassion and humor. Funeral services will be at 11:30am Friday, March 26, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services and from 5-8pm Thursday, March 25.
