

Richard Carl Jordan, 39, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2021. He was born in Syracuse, NY to William and Frances Jordan on July 17, 1981. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Oswego and his Master's Degree in Nutrition from St. Louis University. Richard was a Registered Dietician and was recognized as Florida's Dietician of the Year in 2015. He worked as a professor, researcher and dietician.
Richard was a United States Marine and served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He was in the first tank to cross the border into Iraq when hostilities began in 2003. He was meritoriously promoted for his distinguished actions in battle and had achieved the rank of Sergeant by the time he was honorably discharged. Despite the injuries he sustained in the midst of war, he was always faithful to The Corps and deeply devoted to his patriotism.
Richard was an avid health and fitness enthusiast who enjoyed working out daily. He loved to fish with his dad. He was smart, had a dry sense of humor, and prayed the rosary often.
Richard is preceded in passing by his father. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Frances; brothers Bill (Trisha) Jordan and Paul (Melanie) Jordan; sister Mary Jordan (Mark), nephews Will, Jack, Matthew and Christopher and nieces Kathryn and Molly.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST. No public services have been planned. Interment will take place at a later date. The Jordan family would like to thank everyone for their continued love and support during this difficult time.
