Richard Raymond Wellmer

Richard Raymond Wellmer, age 18 of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013. Richard was born in Columbus and grew up in Gahanna, son of Raymond and Sherry Wellmer. Richard graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, Class of 2013 and had currently been attending Columbus State Community College, Preferred Pathways Scholar Program. Richard worked for Angie's Pizza in Gahanna and Lawn Keepers of Columbus. He was a sports fan, especially the Cleveland Browns, and also enjoyed skateboarding, camping, and playing X-BOX. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol McKernan and paternal grandfather, Raymond Wellmer, Sr. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Raymond Wellmer and Sherry Wellmer; brother, Phillip Wellmer, maternal grandfather, Richard (Sol) McKernan; paternal grandmother, Kay Wellmer; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until time of service.
