Richard L. "Dick" Welsh

Richard L. Welsh, age 83, of Upper Arlington, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born December 14, 1932 in Seward, Nebraska, son of the late Frank and Ethel (Steele) Welsh. Dick retired as President of SEA Unlimited of Worthington OH. Besides his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary Lou Welsh in 1997. He will be dearly missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Judd, Hilliard; sons and daughter-in-law, Dick and Denise Welsh, Matthews, NC and Don Welsh, San Luis Obispo, CA; his grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda and Drew (Amber); his great-grandchildren Aiyana and Bodhi Richard. He was a longtime member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger Rd. where the family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Friday.
