Rickey V. Williams Jr.

Rickey Jr. affectionately known as "Brother" or "Lil Rickey" came into this life on September 22nd, 1983 and returned home on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the tender age of 39. He was born to Rickey Williams, Sr. and Sherrie Williams in Toledo, Ohio.

He was the real definition of an entrepreneur. As a kid he and his brothers used to catch a variety of reptiles and sell them in exchange for a piece of change. He was also very adventurous, it was not uncommon to catch them sledding down highways. As he got older he completed college with a business degree, started his own bounce house business, obtained gainful employment with his CDLs, all the while slowly pursing his love for cooking. While in the kitchen he was no longer Rickey Williams, he was known as ChefHomboy RG, and he prepared a variety of veganish cuisines. He was always outgoing and knew how to keep a smile on others faces. It was hard not to smile in return when he flashed that big gapped smile.

He is survived by his Fiance, Mychael Dennis; his children: Shardai Bryant, Ashon King, Ella Williams, and Rickey Williams III; a few bonus children: James Wright, Jocelyn Wright, Jordan Wright and Kai Robinson; siblings: Shauntria Nelson, Reniesha Williams, Aaron, Janelle, Amanda, Jha'mya, Chris, Debo, Omega, Tishanda, Mel, Joseph, Jennifer, Michelle, and a slew of other brothers, sisters and special cousins; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by grandparents; Elijah (Roda Bell) Ham, Bill Williams, and Clarie Sims; brothers: LaShawn, Allen, and James (Quinton).

A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, followed by a Funeral Service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A loving cremation has been requested by his family.
