Rita Mae Ording

She was born March 4, 1928 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Leo J. & Marie (Simons) Hennes. She was a 1946 graduate of South High School. Rita was a devoted and loving mother and wife. She will be truly missed by us all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Bud” Ording; brothers, Robert Hennes, Leo G. “Pete” Hennes, Donald Hennes; and sister, Geraldine (nee Hennes) Sickler. Rita is survived by daughters, Beverly (James) Marsh, Debbie (Randy) Peters, Sharon (Paul) Rusk; son, Steven (Carolyn) Ording; sister-in-law, Jewell (nee Hennes) Paxton; grandsons, Chad Clipner, Shawn Clipner, Jerrod Ording, Chris Marsh, and Chris Arnette; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Cole Clipner and Chris Arnette.

Visitation will be held at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with funeral service 10 am Thursday, November 1, 2012. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
