

Robert “Bob” Charnier, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2009. An U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam. Member of the NRA, American Legion, and Harley Davidson Club. Bob was an accomplished photographer and a woodworking craftsman. He enjoyed collecting guns, riding motorcycles and playing golf. Preceded in death by parents, Robert G. and Virginia Charnier; grandparents, Jack and Frances (Charnier) Thompson and Frank and Rose DePlacido. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah “Deb” Charnier; daughter, Jacquelyn “Jacqui” (Ken) Hamilton; grandchildren, Kirsten Boyer and Holden Hamilton; brother, Mike (Angie) Charnier and their children Andrea and Dominic; other family and close friends. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 23 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad St. where the family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Entombment Green Lawn Cemetery.
