Robert Leland Cullums

Robert Leland Cullums, Sr. age 83, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born in Circleville, Ohio to the late Charles and Ina Cullums on February 23, 1937. Robert attended Circleville High School and after graduation he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Dupont and retired after 35 years. Robert was a master mechanic that could fix anything. During Pumpkin Show he could often be found building the floats for the parades, working as a clown or walking in the parades with the Circleville AMVETS Honor Guard. He proudly volunteered with the honor guard for a number of years. Robert was a member of the Roundtown Cruisers car club and even when he could no longer take part in cars shows, the club was known to drive by where Robert was living. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosalee; daughter, Melinda Smith and brother, Fred K. Cullums. He is survived by his children, Robert L. Cullums, Jr. and Shanna Betts; grandchildren, Cody Smith, Chole Betts, Kurt R. Cullums and Holly Cuccia; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Maddox, Lane, Kevin, Kayden and Jackson along with his dear friend Bonnie. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Forest Cemetery with military honors. Chaplain Jim Ferrell is officiating.
