

Robert M. DuPlessis II, age 64, of Gahanna, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Monday, April 14, 2014. He was born to the late Robert M. and Wilma D. DuPlessis I on May 17, 1949 in Chicago, IL. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He retired after 43 years of dedicated service with Continental Airlines as an Operations Coordinator. Bob was talented and loved to sing, dance, and play multiple instruments. He was a wine maker for many years and had his own vineyard. He was very witty and personable. Bob's memorable laugh and caring spirit will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy; daughters, Heather Renee (Dane) DuPlessis-Seikel, Tamara Covey, Rhonda Holowitz, and Roxanne (Terry) Grim; sons, Daryl (Sara) Cooper, Dallas (Julie) Cooper, and Joel Cooper; 17 grandchildren; 3-great-grandchildren; sister, Natalie (DuPlessis) Flowers; extended family and many dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.) Gahanna, where the family will receive friends from 11 am until time of service. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
