Robert Edmondson

Robert was born on December 23, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the union of James and Minnie Edmondson. He graduated from East High School. He worked for Columbus Public School for more than 30 years as a School Bus Mechanic.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and he loved playing the lottery and making ceramics.

Robert is preceded in death by daughter Darlene Edmondson Givens.

He is survived by his daughter, Constance Riggins, Son, Robert Edmondson Jr. (Theresa); Grandchildren, Darrell Havener, Delane Edmondson, Angelique Birchmore, Katrina Edmondson, Corey Pannell, Gabrielle Orallo, Timothy Orallo, Kenny Hatfield, Rachel Thomas; Great Grandchildren Marcella Gray (Byran), Daquan Edmondson, Sabrina Edmondson, Trévon Edmondson, Kylan Birchmore, Kaleah Birchmore; Great-Great grandchildren; Jaydon Gray, Rhea Thomas; Host of nieces, nephews and friends including special friend Jay Harrison.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger - Hilltop Chapel, 3030 West Broad Street, where friends will be received from 12:00 Noon to 1pm (please where a mask and observe social distance).
