

Robert Bernard Keller, 87, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at First Community Village in Columbus. He was born March 5, 1923 to the late Harry D. and Anne (Keller) Cohen. He graduated from New York City Public Schools and attended New York University where he received his undergraduate degree and then Long Island University where he received his degree in dentistry. He served in the US Army and USAF where he was stationed at Goose Bay, Labrador during the Korean Conflict. He was a dentist in private practice in Port Chester, NY for over thirty years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Chappaqua Drama Group and loved movies and music. Some of his passions included woodworking, stained glass and sculpture. He had a great sense of humor and was always excited about his grandchildren and their interests. He was a very progressive thinker who was very knowledge on most subjects of conversation. He is preceded in death by parents, sister Cecile Leaf, first wife Marilyn (Silverstein) Keller, second wife Eileen (Stern) Keller and beloved childhood friend Lenore. He is survived by two children Linda Van Camp, Hal (Laurie Kaps-Keller) Keller, two step children Hank (Gayle) Stern, Joyce (Jorge) Ferreiro, four grandchildren Kimberly Van Camp, Ben Keller, Alyssa Van Camp, Miriam Keller, three step grandchildren Sarah and Hannah Stern, Gabbie Ferreiro. Family willl receive friends Sunday from 12 PM until time of service at 1 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270) with a reception to follow.
