

Robert V. Lambert, age 92, passed away peacefully under the care of Capital City Hospice Care on Wednesday, September 10th 2025, at the Inn at Winchester Trails. Born on July 2nd ,1933 in Columbus, Ohio. Robert was the son of Elmer and Verlyn Lambert. He spent his early years owning his own business working with sewing machines and sweepers. He later moved on to sales and a traveling salesman followed by working as a framer building single family homes and then at Nicklaus’ Machine Shop. He later worked with Bank One where he then retired. Robert was known for his deep love of music, he especially enjoyed playing the piano and singing old country songs. He also had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and never turned down a scoop of ice cream. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Irma G. Lambert and his daughter. Penny Yeater. Robert is survived by his children: Dean Lambert, Robin Lambert, Tammy Fry, Kim (Jeff) Daily, Troy Lambert and Ben (Laura) Lambert; his grandchildren and great- grandchildren; his son-in-law, John Yeater and his sister Linda Condi. He is also remembered fondly by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday. September 16th 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43229. A private Interment will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
