

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Judith (née Whitman) McQuilkin; two sisters: Johanna (née McQuilkin) and Carl Kremer and Stephanie (née McQuilkin) Boughton; three stepsisters: Julie (née Glass) Stone, Suzanne (née Glass) and Jerry Trahan, and Kristin (née Glass) and Steve Tebo; and a biological daughter, Eryn (née Plennert) McHale, and her three children: Colton, Ethan, and Makenna.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Doncaster Smith McQuilkin, and his aunt and uncle, Carole and John Augenstein, of Upper Arlington, OH.
Craig spent his early life in Dayton, OH, graduating from West Carrollton High School. In high school he was active in soccer and cross country. Afterward, he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Eglin Air Force base in Destin, FL. After his honorable discharge, he was self employed, working in landscaping and retail. Craig was an avid sports fan - with a special love for the Buckeyes, Cubs, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Craig lived life to the fullest and made a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
His final resting place will be in Chapel B at Union Cemetery in Columbus, OH. A memorial service will be scheduled once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and the VA can schedule an Air Force flag ceremony.
