Robert J. "Curly" Rieser

Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Sylvester and Bridget (Walsh) Rieser. He served in the Air Force from January 1951 through December 1954. He was employed with AT&T for 32 years after retirement he was a custodial/maintenance employee with Our Lady of Miraculous Medal for 22 years.

He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. He enjoyed watching football, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Dixie, children Christina and Michael Jackson, Scott and Carlena Rieser, Kimberly and Bobby Gibson, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Delores Shanks, Donna Grant, brothers Walter and Phyliss Rieser, Richard and Trudy Rieser, brother and sister in laws Robert and Judy Reynolds, Butch and Liz Ray, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. He was predeceased by sisters Jean Underwood, Mary Miller, Nancy Rieser and brother Gerald Rieser.

Calling Hours will be held 2-5 PM Sunday November 13th at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday November 14th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3730 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123. Rev Fr Jim Colopy Celebrant.
