Robert Christopher Roberts, age 61, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 19, 1948 to the late Edward and Marjorie Roberts. He was a 1966 graduate of West High School and graduated with a BA from Franklin University in 1971. He retired from Columbia Gas after 31 years of service and was a member of First Congregational Church where he sang in the choir for 42 years. Survivors include his brother, Edward (Connie) Roberts; lifelong friend, Michael Broome; and many friends and family members. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP, 3030 West Broad St. and later in the evening from 6:00PM until time of service at 8:00PM at First Congregational Church, 444 East Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. Private entombment will be held at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Contributions in Robert’s honor may be made to the ALS Association, 1170 Old Henderson Rd, Suite 221, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
