I still haven't been able to wrap my head around this tragedy. Bob was truly one of a kind. He had such a kind soul and the best sense of humor. He was always just more than a softball coach to my daughter, he truly took on a father role in her life and guided her in so many positive ways. I always told him he was her life coach more than her softball coach.  I would never be able to thank him enough for being that amazing role model that he was for her. My heart is just breaking for Heather, Kelsey, Taylor and the entire Stokes family. Some of my favorite memories in life involved Bob, Heather and the girls and I will truly treasure those memories forever. We love you Bob, rock in peace.

Truly sorry to hear of the too early passing of Bob! Condolences to his family and friends. I hope the many happy memories of him will give you strength and laughter during your time of grief.

My heart goes out to Heather and the girls.  I myself am still in shock.  It is evident that Bob  (as well as Heather) touched a lot of lives.   My daughter began playing for Bob in Coach pitch softball and played until she became to old.  He was one of the most dedicated, most level headed (imagine coaching pre-teen girls and so forth) and funniest persons ever.  The very last comment  from him to me was about my rocks!  This was an inside joke from ONE game that I miscounted runs.  You will be greatly missed BOB...Gone to soon.  ROCK ON!

My husband and I have lived next door to Bob and his family for 30+ years and have known him as a great neighbor and friend. I still can't wrap my mind around his passing and feel so bad for his family. He was such a great husband and father. His daughters and a couple of my children played together when they were young and he loved to tease them. My kitchen table sat near the window and I can still picture him driving by on his lawn tractor putting the looser sign on his forehead to tease my son. He was just so funny and kind. He will be so missed. My love and prayers to his family.

Bobby will be greatly missed.  He has been a life saver more than once by helping with plumbing emergencies at a couple of our rentals.  We send our condolences to the family and will keep you in our prayers.

I'll always remember Bob as a fun-loving uncle to our daughter, Charlotte, and the rest of his nieces and nephews.  It was always a pleasure to watch him interact with the kids.  He had a heart of gold and the kids knew it.  We will miss you dearly, Uncle Bob.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Bobby's passing.  I barely knew Bobby but he just finished working on my bathroom remodels with my contractor and did a stellar job.  He was such a nice and polite man with a quiet and respectful disposition. I can only imagine how much he will be missed by all of you.  His time on earth was way too short.  My condolences for your heartache and loss.

This is an unfortunate and tragic loss, I have known Bobby over half of my life.  We started our apprenticeship at Radico a year apart and worked on several jobs together.  One of my favorite memories of young Bobby was when he had taken apart a flush-o-meter valve for the first time.  It was at Mt. Carmel Hospital and a valve was stuck open so Bobby was trying to repair the valve, the only problem was he forgot to shut off the supply valve so he could make the repair.  When he loosened the top of the flush-o-meter, it shot up under pressure with about a 1" column of water erupting like a volcano.  Someone came to his aid and shut off the supply valve but poor Bobby looked like a drown rat.  We talked about that incident so many times over the years and we always had a good laugh.   Bobby was a great craftsman, a great person, and I consider myself lucky to have been able to call him one of my friends.   Rest in peace my friend.
