

Robert L Temple, age 79, was born June 28, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio. After a valiant summer he passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Columbus, with his family at his side. He is preceded in death by son John; parents Howard and Florence Temple; and brother, Charlie. He leaves to celebrate a lifetime of memories and great stories his wife of 52 years, Genny (Welker) Temple, Grove City; daughter Robin (David) Hepler; and his cherished grandchildren Lauren and Collin Hepler, all of Bexley; twin brother Ronald (Nancy) Temple of Dublin; sister Ruth Joy (Mac) Sallee of Columbus; sisters-in-law Margie (Dar) Port and Mary Welker, both of Columbus; and dozens and dozens of nieces, nephews and great, great nieces and nephews for whom he was Uncle Bob. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Captain (ret.) Franklin Twp. Fire Dept. and owner of R.L.Temple Painting Co. Bob was a 50-year member of Westgate Masonic Lodge #623. He loved the outdoors, time in his deer stand and swimming and bowling with his long-time teammates. Most of all, he treasured time with family and friends.
