Robert E. Vance

Bob was a 1958 graduate of Highland High School in Granger and serviced in the U.S. Navy. He married Joan Mostoller on April 7, 1962. Bob owned and operated Mr. Vance’s Hairstylist in Medina for 33 years. Bob went on to teach cosmetology at the Montgomery, Medina, and Greene County Vocational Centers. Upon retirement, Bob and Joan moved to Lewis Center, where Bob has been employed with the Medallion Golf Course for the past 13 years. He was a member of All Shepherds Lutheran Church in Lewis Center and St. Mathews Church in Medina. Bob will be truly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Bob will be missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan; son, Scott (Jeani) Vance; daughters, Lori (Michael) Henderson and Kimberly (Jonathan) Rossi; 6 grandchildren, Jared, Justin, and Jacob Vance, Bryce and Isabel Henderson, and Aneko Rossi; brother, Richard (Margie) Vance; and sister, Anita Umer.

Family will received friends Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270), where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., Dr. Art Haimerl, officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
