

Robert F. Watts, age 86, of Columbus, died August 4, 2015. He was born November 12, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, 15 minutes after his twin, Ruth (Watts) Notturniano. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He was a retiree of Ohio National Bank and also held several other positions during his "Retirement" including Sanese Services and 3M Corp.
He was a proud combat veteran of the Korean War. He was the oldest volunteer at the Chalmers P Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center and "worked" two days a week until his last hospitalization. While raising his family he always ensured there were many vacations, whether it was camping at Berkshire Lake, spending time at a cottage on Lake Erie or the many summers spent in Florida. He leaves his children a love of water, waves and sunshine.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Virginia Watts (Lawson),his parents, Chester and Marie, a sister, Helen Bateman, and his brother, Ralph.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Notturniano (Watts), daughters, Debby Watts (Judy), Pam Watts, his sons, Todd (Julie) and Troy (Chris) and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Cory, Lindsey and Hannah, and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to his many friends at the VA and those who cared for him in his last years. He enjoyed his VA "job" so much and being with you all made him very happy.
Family will receive friends from 6-8-pm on Thursday, at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Graveside Service and interment with Military Honors, to be held at 10am, Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.
