At UD, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity (and engaged in many shenanigans). Roger worked in the central Ohio banking community for forty years, finishing his career at Fifth Third Bank. In addition, Roger was a devout Catholic and was a parishioners at St. Peter Church. He lived out his faith through service, including serving on the boards of Catholic Social Services, WOSU and Opera Columbus, as well as serving on and as president of Parish Council and as president of the Parent Board for Ashland University. Roger also served in the United States Army.
Roger leaves behind a close family, including his beloved wife of 42 years, Sandra, and their three daughters, Molly (Sean Reid), Maureen (Julie Waddell), and Emelie (Bryan Inderhees). He was a loving "Granpere" to his three grandchildren, Cecilia, Hugh, and Lavinia. He is also survived by his sisters, Pauline and Joanne, and their families, and numerous cousins. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
