

Ron K. Aselton III, age 25 of Columbus, died unexpectedly Friday May 1, 2015 as a result of a seizure. Ron had an infectious spirit and loved being outdoors and helping others or just spending time laughing with good friends and family. He was a 2008 graduate of The Wellington School where he was on the golf and baseball teams. Ron attended Miami University and was currently enrolled at The Ohio State University. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, Beta Chapter. Ron was a prolific writer, loved cycling, music and traveling the world with his family. He also enjoyed his time spent as a camp counselor with The MDA and at Camp Akita. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ron and Nancy Aselton; George Holzapfel. Survived by his mother, Linda (Roger) Patterson Blackwell; father, Ronald K. Aselton II; grandmother, Jeanne Holzapfel; sister, Megan Aselton; girlfriend and soulmate, Kelsey Ozuk and his dogs and best buddies, Oscar and Dexter. A celebration of life will be held 1:00pm Friday May 22, 2015 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church 2300 Lytham Rd. Columbus, OH 43220 where the family will greet friends following the service.
