Ronald "David" Picklesimer

Ronald “David” Picklesimer , 68, of Columbus, passed away May 18, 2024 after a long fought battle with Parkinson's disease. Dave was born October 12, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Bill and Sue Picklesimer. Dave is survived by his wife of almost 50 years; Kimberly; children Brad (Amanda) Picklesimer, Matt, Michael, Robert; grandchildren, Colin, Austin, Olivia, Abigail, Emileigh, Gracie, Maddie; sisters, Rebecca, Karen (Joe) Costell; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Dave was a life long Christian who believed in the power of faith, family, and friends. Dave enjoyed music, THE Ohio State Buckeyes, and his wife's delicious cooking. Dave long felt that the wonder of fatherhood was without rival...then the grandchildren entered his world and he experienced a love and astonishment unparalleled in his life. Whether Dave was sharing his latest “dad joke”, introducing one of the kids to their first experience with Elvis, or imparting one of life's many lessons, he was in awe of his family. Dave was a kind heart-ed, gentle soul, who touched the heart of all who were blessed to know him. Visitation will be held 1:00 – 3:00PM Thursday May 30, 2024 with a funeral service at 3:00PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Pastor Tom Walker will be officiating with cremation to follow.
