Ronald L. Walls

Ronald L. Walls, age 81 of Greenfield, OH, and formerly of Columbus, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020. Ron was born in Columbus to the late Elisha and Beatrice Walls and graduated from South High School, class of 1956. He served his country proudly in the U.S.M.C. Reserves. He was employed for many years as a pattern maker with Buckeye Steel, Anchor Pattern and Industrial Pattern. He was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church as well as a member of Southgate Lodge F and A.M. #782. Ron was a member of the NRA and loved to collect guns as well as hunt. Being a pattern maker, he was incredibly talented with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring old furniture, and restoring his 1986 Ford pick up truck. He never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Michael E. Walls, and sisters Norma Williams and Joyce Specie. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Beverly Walls; children Bob (Sandy) Miller, Lori (Ed) Barron, and Phil (Sara) Walls; grandchildren Penny and Randy, Anthony and Andrew, Max, Madison, and Mason; and 6 great-grandchildren.
