Rosaleen Ann (Drumel) Meyer

Rosaleen Ann (Drumel) Meyer, age 73, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Monday, August 29, 2011. She was born on June 23, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Rev. Dr. Edgar F. and Kathleen Drumel. Rosaleen attended Wittenburg University, received a Bachelors Degree from Denison University, and a Masters Degree from Bowling Green State University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. After college, she had a career in public relations as a speaker with Columbia Gas of Ohio. Rosaleen was a very stylish lady, whose beauty was shown through words and deeds. She was loyally committed to her family and had a strong and abiding love for them. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roger A.; daughters, Ann Kathleen Meyer, and Susan Katharina (Mark) McClure; grandchildren, Rafe and Kristen; brother, David L. (Mary Ann) Drumel; cousins, Alice Monroe, and Kathleen Hughes; brothers-in-law, Howard L. (Carol) Meyer of Atlanta, and Robert W. (Susie) Meyer of Florida. Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2011at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger RD. Funeral service will be held at the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd., Columbus. Pastor David Drumel officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery.
