Rose Marie Gillispie

Rose was born May 26, 1936 in Columbus to the late George and Jessie (Gossett) Whetnall. She is survived by her children Vickey (Jack) Stockley of Columbus, Cindy (Gary) Lyons of New Albany and Michael (Cheryl) Gillispie of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren Brian Stockley, Christy (Jeffry Clapham) Mathieu, Jill (Jon) Howard and Stephanie (Joe) Campbell; great grandchildren Jordan, Jaime, Jenna, Sloane, Julianna and the love of her life great grandson Tyler Mathieu; sister Laura (Howard) Heimlich; best friend Becky Shannon and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mike Gillispie and their son John.

Rose was an avid Buckeyes fan who loved life and would do anything for anyone.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6-9PM. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30AM with Charlie Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, www.parkinson.org.
