Roy E. Lyons

He is preceded in death by mother, Irma McCoy; father, Marvin; and daughter, Lois Ann. Survived by wife of 60 years, Wanda; sons, Roy Jr., John, Gary (Cindy), and David; sister, Marie McAllister; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Roy was an avid horseshoe player and played with many top ranked players. A long-time member of Christian Center Church, he was devoted to God and couldn't wait to see what heaven was like. He worked for Marte Pontiac for 40 years and retired from Northland Dodge after 10 years in auto body repair.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Roy's memory to the National Parkinson Foundation of Southern and Central Ohio, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, OH 43231.
