

Rudolph A Hagovsky, age 90 passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. Rudy was born in Ford City, PA to his father the late Rudolph J Hagofsky and his mother the late Agnes Troch Hagofsky. In addition to his parents, Rudy is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Marjorie Sullivan Hagovsky, his son Michael Hagovsky, his sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Larry Palermo, his sister and brother-in-law Mildred and Harry Procyshen, his brother-in-law Bill Kamer and infant nephew Mark Procyshen.
Rudy is survived by his sister Marie Kamer, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Clara Sullivan, daughter-in-law Carol Hagovsky, son Owen (Sue) Hagovsky, daughter Sue (Larry) Corbin and son Tom Hagovsky; grandchildren: Christine (Greg) McGlinn, Angela (Stefan) Hansen, Elizabeth Hagovsky (Dot Salisbury), Sarah Hagovsky, Justin Hagovsky, Charlie (Cindy) Corbin, Sally (Chip) Brown, Stewart Corbin (Paul Burrier), Clara (Kenny) Corwin, John (Erin) Corbin; great-grandchildren: Carley, Gregory, Amanda, Lauren, Lillian, Tony, Bryan (Johanna), Holly (Aaron), Austin, Abby, Gabe, Gage, Megan, Emma and Brady; great-great-grandchild Parker.
Rudy is also survived by his nephew William (Ann Marie) Palermo, nieces Jude Palermo, Laurie Palermo, Bob (Jackie) Kamer, Mark Kamer and Eileen, Christine (Dave) Campbell, Joan (Steve) Kalnik, four great nieces and six great nephews, two great-great nieces, three great-great nephews, cousins; Joan Chojnacki, Marie Troch, John Troch and many friends.
Rudy proudly served in the Army Air Forces during WWII as a Cryptographic Technician from 1942 until demobilization in 1945. Rudy and Marge began their married life in Kittanning, PA. They then moved to Butler, PA a few years later moved to Indiana, PA then moved to Columbus, OH where they lived for 20 years. They moved to Ft Myers and spent 30 years in the “Sunshine State”. The only request when they moved to Florida was Rudy wanted a palm tree in his yard. Rudy enjoyed reading, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, playing the organ and spending time with friends and his family. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30am at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor 5199 E. Broad St Columbus 43213. The family plans a gravesite burial in Kittanning, PA at a later date.
