Ruth E. Conklin

Ruth E. Conklin, age 83, life long resident of Gahanna, died Thursday December 20, 2012 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was a 1947 Graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, 60 year member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church, a member of the Rebekah Lodge and 50 year member of the Westerville Promenaders. She is survived by her husband Ed whom she married June 15, 1952, their son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Sandra Conklin, granddaughter Katie Conklin, aunts Esther Jay and Leona Erlenbach, other family including: Barbara Dodson, Scott and Jennifer Dodson and their sons Tyler and Zachary, Bud and Carol Witney and their daughters Mariana, Gabriella and Angelina, Cary and Sheila Russell and their children Mason and Megan, brothers-in-law Bill (Dee) Conklin and Glen (Pauline) Williams and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. The family will receive friends 1-3 and 6-8pm Wednesday at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel 1051 East Johnstown Road (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 10am Thursday December 27, 2012. Dr. Donald D Swift and Pastor John J. Manos officiating. Interment in Mifflin Township Cemetery.
