

Ruth Marie Kinder, passed away at home on Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was born July 5, 1941 in West Portsmouth to the late Farrell B. Conley and Naomi R Geisler. Ruth was preceded in death by son, Ty Kinder. She is survived by her loving husband, Lance “Fred” Kinder, whom she married on June 26, 1965; her daughter Jody (Tom) Haag; grandchildren Paige and Cameron Wellman; her eight siblings, Martha (Luther) Craft, Billie Stanley, Dewey Conley, Garnet Graham, Herbert (Janet) Conley, Terrence (Kitty) Conley, Richard (Sue) Conley and Miranda (Shelly) Parker; many loving nieces and nephews and their families; many loving friends.
Ruth retired from National City Bank (PNC) in 2001 after many years of dedicated service. During her employment, she worked as an Operations Analyst, and with Mergers and Acquisitions. She was a devoted and long-time, active member of New Albany First Church of the Nazarene. Ruth enjoyed serving others with a compassionate heart during times of need and times of joy. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, at New Albany First Church of the Nazarene, 6000 Johnstown Rd., New Albany, 43054 where her Funeral Service will be held 10am, Saturday, January 18, 2014. Pastor Larry McNutt officiating. Interment to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene Benevolence Fund in Ruth’s memory. A special thank you to Mount Carmel Hospice, and the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Mount Carmel East Hospital, 2 South for their care, support, compassion. It will never be forgotten!
