Our Beloved Ruth Ann (Tibbs) Rankey, passed away April 17, 2026. Born in Betsy Layne, Ky. April 12, 1934 to the late Luther & Earlene (Gilliam) Tibbs. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road. Preceded in death by husband, Donald Rankey Sr.; sisters Margaret Yoakam, Joyce Tingle, brother Guy Walton Tibbs & son Ronald Yoakam. Survived by sisters Helen Bashaw & Kay Vaughn, son Dwight (Emily) Yoakam of Los Angeles, Ca. & daughter Kimberly (James) Leslie of Jupiter, Fl., granddaughters Lindsey (Philip) McCracken & Macey (Ryan) Norton, grandson Dalton Yoakam. And great grandchildren Phoenix Norton, Palmer Norton, Navy Norton, Miles McCracken & Colton McCracken and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Private interment will be held at Union Cemetery.
