Ruth E. "Betty" Woolpert

Ruth ( Betty ) Woolpert, 97, of First Community Village died peacefully August 21, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Zella Stockdale, first husband Ralph Robertson,and by second husband Oram Woolpert.

Mrs. Woolpert was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she also earned a Masters Degree. She taught briefly in Bucyrus, Ohio and at Upper Arlington High School for 30 years in the Home Ec. department.

She was a member of Omicron Nu, Alpha Phi, and Mortar Board. Upon retirement,she was an active volunteer at the Trading Post of First Community Church. She was a long-time resident of First Community Village and enjoyed gardening, and playing bridge with her many friends. Survived by her children Regina (David) Reed of Tampa, Florida, and Roy Robertson (partner, Geneva Stewart) of Westerville, Ohio, step-son, Oram Clark Jr. of Novi, Michigan; nine grandchildren and spouses, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grand-children.
