Sammy Edward "Sam" Pearson, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born in Yates, Missouri on June 24, 1939 to the late Walter and Clarabelle Pearson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen K. Pearson; and brother, Franklin Leroy Pearson. Sam is survived by his wife, Karen Pearson; children, Rob Patterson, Chris (Erica) Pearson, and Kimberly (Ron) Dunn; grandchildren, Geoffrey (Kat), Jordan, and Reid; and mother in-law, Marvene Gardner. From his previous marriage he is survived by children, Kathy (Alban) Wilson, Sammy Edward (Deborah) Pearson, and Kellee (Nick) Black; grandchildren, Tony, Terra (Chris), Chad, Amy, Danielle, and McKenzie; and five great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:30AM in the chapel at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
