

Sancta K. Ryce, age 46 of Columbus, passed away January 22, 2011. Sancta was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of John and Sylvia Ryce. Sancta was a woman who believed in higher education. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Capital University and then went on to graduate with a Masters Degree from the University of Dayton. She had currently been working for more than 25 years for The State of Ohio. Sancta was truly an unforgettable woman. She had a vibrant outgoing personality and was a wonderful role model to many. She was a woman with a strong faith in God, was a good judge of character, and believed in always being a leader, not a follower. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping. Preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Moorer. Sancta will be missed by her children, DeJuan Morris and London Baskin; parents, John and Sylvia Ryce; sister, Bonnie Lou Green; niece, Ayanna Moorer; and many other extended family members, co-workers, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Rd., where family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until time of service.
