Sandra Lee Tindell

Sandra Lee Tindell, age 74, of Grove City, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. She was born January 18, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Lucille (White) Bottman. She was a 1960 graduate of West High School and attended The Ohio State University. She retired from the Ohio Public Defender Commission with over 28 years of service. She possessed the gift of friendship and had many friends. Sandy was an avid reader of non-fiction books and enjoyed learning about history, taking dance lessons, and participating in regular Bible study with the Dawn Bible Students. Sandy also loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jim Tindell; children: Susan Lee (Richard) Korecki, Lyla (Jim) Damopoulos, Cynthia Steele, Sherry Milburn, and Christopher Tindell; grandchildren: Lauren, Avery, Scott (Riza), Timothy (Juli), Brandon, Kenneth (Jamie), Jenny (Ryan), Chris, James, Melissa, Noel, and Alex (Holly); sister: Barbara Ann (Garry) Abbitt; nephew: Scott (Heather) Mangold; numerous great-grandchildren and many friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
