

Sara Loretta Bowman, age 82, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 6, 2017 at home. Loretta was born on September 6, 1935 in Columbus to Howard and Leone (McBride) Wallace. She was a graduate of West High School in 1953. Loretta and her beloved husband, Ron along with their son, Skip have worked side by side operating Beck and Orr Book Binding for more than 55 years. She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and a former member of the Robert Morris Chapter of the Eastern Star. Loretta was and honorary member of the squirrel club. She loved being with her family more than anything. That might include, cooking, watching the buckeyes, hanging out at the house on the Muskingum River, and playing euchre. Loretta will be remembered for making you feel comfortable and always welcome as she referred to you as "Honey". Preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Lynette Hope Farmer. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ron Bowman; son, Skip Bowman (Mona); daughter, Lori (Steve) Garrard; grandchildren, Derek and Zachary Farmer, Megan and Killian McSweeney, and Zane Bowman; sister, Joyce Glasser; along with many other relatives. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Parkview United Methodist Church, 344 S. Algonquin Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43204
