Sara Ann Leach

Sara Ann graduated from Ironton High, where she was Valedictorian and the first student to earn straight A's. She attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Sara Ann had an acquiring mind and continued to be a student of many things throughout her life. She was an avid birdwatcher, Bridge Life Master, and traveled the world including to every continent except for Antarctica.

Sara Ann enjoyed family and friend gathering for OSU football games and holidays.

In addition to her parents, Sara Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dr. Joseph Thurston Leach Sr., who passed away in 2011; and her daughter, Dr. Ann Adams in 1982.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Dr. Joseph T. (Laura) Leach Jr.; daughter, Janet (John) Fritts; sister, Janet Anno; grandchildren, Kevin (Alyssa) Leach and Jay Leach; great-grandchildren, Elina Turner and Joseph T. Leach III; and loving family of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Private service will be held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST.
