Scott McElroy

Paul Scott McElroy, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Ann’s Hospital. He was born in Columbus on December 10, 1943 to the late Paul Raymond and Louise Harrington McElroy. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he served during the Vietnam Era. A graduate of both, Bexley High School and The Ohio State University. Scott retired from Americo Life as the Vice President of National Sales.

A true family man, Scott enjoyed life and the time spent with family. He is survived by his loving wife of wife 41 years, Peggy (Marjorie A Wyman); his sons: Bryan and Jennifer, Sean and Kendra; his beloved grandchildren: Kaden, Lucas, Michael, Kyle and Abby; his sister Molly (Jim) Smith; nieces: Sydney (Dave) Marlow and Aimee (Randy) Jones.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Scott’s life on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington. There will be no formal services following.
