Scott Melvin, 46, of Circleville, passed away unexpectedly, January 31, 2010. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter “Nick” Melvin and wife, Terri. Scott is survived by his son, Joey Melvin; mother, Lois Melvin; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Scott proudly served his country and was a veteran of the US Army. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the DEFENBAUGH-WISE-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME 151 E. Main St. Circleville. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 E. Mound, Circleville, Ohio 43113. Rev. Dr. Gerhard Kraus will be officiating with interment at Jackson Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in memory of Scott.
