Scotty Ray Sammons, age 50, of Circleville, Ohio passed away on June 16, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1972 in Logan, WV to Herschel and Wanda (Belcher) Sammons. Scott is preceded in death by his father. He leaves behind his wife Tabitha Sammons; mother Wanda Sammons; step-children Lindsay (Robbie) Surgener and Dylan (Sarah) Darling; grandchildren Harper and Alaina; siblings Hershel Sammons Jr. and Greg Sammons; In-laws Chuck and Debbie Strous. Also surviving are brother in law Justin Strous and sister in law Heather Eidson as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew. Scott loved to play Texas Hold ‘Em, watch horse racing and playing golf. He was big Ohio State Buckeyes fan as well as the Dallas Cowboys. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 22, 2023 from 2PM to 4PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremations by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will take place at 4PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Scott’s name directly to the funeral home.
