Shirle C Krueger

Shirle (Cooke) Krueger, born October 29, 1931 and passed on September 19, 2021, at Kendal of Granville, OH, where she had been a resident. Per Shirle's request, there will be a family only burial, at Green Lawn Cemetery: date to be announced later. Shirle was a graduate of Bexley High School and attended Wellesley College. She was preceded in death by her parents Virginia (Rice) Cooke and Preston Cooke; brother Rodney P. Cooke; sons Gregg and Kent; husbands Ernest Hoftyzer, John Wallingford, and Everett H. Krueger. She is survived by her son Paul Hoftyzer (Colette Kolanko); daughter Lydia Kregas; granddaughter Virginia Beaufort; and brother David F. Cooke. Shirle served on numerous community boards and was particularly active in the Childhood League Center.
