She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Haag; father John Cochran; step father Harry Haag; brothers: Herbert Slack, Harry Slack, Jr. and William Cochran.
Shirley is survived by her sister Judy Wilcox; best friend and companion Jane Ludwig; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.
She retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company. A member of the Ohio Pioneers and a proud North High School Polar Bear. Always a Buckeye, especially during Football and Basketball season.
A Funeral Service honoring her life will be held at 1pm, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, in Gahanna, where family will receive friends from 12 Noon to the time of service. Pastor June Wilkins, presiding.
Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
