Shirley Mae Schmoll

Shirley Mae Schmoll, age 83, of Groveport, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015. She was born March 3, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward and Frances Thomas. Shirley met her husband, James A. Schmoll, during a roller-skating competition and accepted his hand in marriage on November 26, 1949. She is also survived by her children, Vickie Schmoll, Sheri (Richard) Armentrout, David Schmoll, Mindi Rorick and Kevin (Michelle) Schmoll; brother Lloyd (Cecilia) Thomas; grandchildren Michael (Conni), Shaun (Traci), Jenna, Benjamin, Elton, Kendra (Jade), Kristi, Heather and Kendall; great-grandchildren Christofer and Samantha. Shirley was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she participated in the Lydia Circle. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Family will welcome friends 6-8pm Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 and on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Ave., Whitehall, OH 43213; Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am; interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, the Rev. Eric Moehring, officiating. Those who wish may contribute to the Faith Lutheran Church Endowment Fund in Shirley's memory.
