Silthey Hatfield

Silthey McDonald Hatfield, age 84, of Orient, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. She was born on February 16, 1927 to the late Mose Payne and Lillian Workman. Silthey was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett McDonald; grandson, Benny K. Lowe, Jr.; son in-law, Benny K. Lowe, Sr.; and several siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Samuel Hatfield; children, Joan (Larry) Spangler, Raymond (Deborah) McDonald, Frankie Elana Lowe, Samuel (Debbie) Hatfield, Randy (Jannetta) Hatfield, Stephan (Robin) Hatfield, Donna (Pat) Pratt, Patty Griffin, and Barbara Leach; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Luetishie (Jim) Loomis, Dellamae (Joe) Lambert, Ira (Shirley) Muncy, Larry Muncy, Ann (Lee) Ferrell, Everett (Dorothy) Muncy, and Maybell (Bill) Payne; and many nieces and nephews. Silthey was a wonderful cook and will be remembered as a devoted, mom, grandma, and great grandma. Friends may call on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 10:00AM.
