Stacei Lynn Beardsley, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2011. She was born in Columbus on May 8, 1970, and was a graduate of Westland High School. She then graduated from Columbus State and became a paramedic, then worked as a Registered Nurse at Doctors West and Grant Medical Center. Stacei was an avid learner. She believed in continuing education, and she was always working to increase her knowledge through coursework, as well as worldly wisdom. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and had gone back to school to pursue her Master’s Degree with aspirations of becoming a nurse anesthetist. She was a thrill-seeker, and she thrived on the intensity of working in the emergency room. She was strong-willed and compassionate, and there wasn’t a soul she didn’t care for, human or animal. She loved children, and she enjoyed spending time in the sun and water. She loved to travel, especially to Arizona and Hawaii. She was a strong and dedicated mother, and she cared deeply for her children. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, James Beardsley; children, Airika, Alyssa, and Aaron Beardsley; parents, Thomas (Mary) Kish and Sharon (Lou) Rogers; sister, Susan (Brad) Hetterscheidt; step-brother, Shon (Laura) Frost; extended family members, and many wonderful friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
