Steve graduated from Western Reserve Academy where he lettered in swimming. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Kent State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Steve was a proud member of the Chi Psi Fraternity and honorably served his country with the Army National Guard. He was an avid gin rummy player and had a deep love for people and the birds who visited his feeders daily.
Steve will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Ann Marks; children, Steve (Carol) and Lolly (Rory); and grandchildren Andrew, Katie, and Michael. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother Tom and sister Mary.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
