Steve W Barber

Steven Barber of Westerville passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Steve was born January, 17, 1950 to William and Helen (Cook) Barber. Steve attended Franklin University before starting a career with GE Superabrasives in Worthington, Ohio, where he retired after more than 35 years of service. Steve was a dedicated husband and father who never knew a stranger. His love of dirt bikes led him serve as event chair and President of The Enduro Riders Association for the past 15 years. Steve’s compassion for others came through every year as he would deliver fruit baskets to the families in Vinton County that allowed the riders to use their land. Steve is preceded in death by his Father, William Barber, and survived by his Mother, Helen (Cook) Barber; Wife Linda (Davis) Barber; Brother, Ronald (Leann) Barber; Daughters Vicki (Danny) Boyd and Kris (Bill) Beatty, Grandchildren Audrey, Gabrielle and Lyndsay Boyd and Dylan and Anna Beatty and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Steve will be missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout his life.
