Steven J. Creasap

Steven J. Creasap, age 52, of Grove City, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2012. He was born July 6, 1960 and was a 1978 graduate of Westland High School. Steve spent his entire professional career as a union sheet metal worker and was currently employed at Mid Ohio Mechanical. He was recently elected to the Sr. Fair Board for Franklin County as well as serving on the Franklin County Jr. Fair Sale Committee. He loved gardening, raising chickens and playing on his toys (tractors); but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Steve is survived by his mother, June Creasap; beloved wife, April (Prinz) Creasap; children, Benjamin and Staci Creasap; sister, Sally (Bev Peters) Creasap and their children, Megan and Emily; brother Scott (Melanie) Creasap and their children, Shawna, Nickolas and Nolan; mother-in-law, Janet Prinz; father-in-law, F. Milt Prinz; sister-in-law, Amber (Jay) Erdman and their daughter, Azure; brother-in-law, Aaron Prinz; step-daughter, Nicole (Josh) Stamper and their children, Phoenix and Oliver; special aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends, including the Thursday night gang. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Frank Creasap and brother, Stacey Creasap. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where services will be held at 10am Friday; Andrew Hoover, Celebrant; interment Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established for Steve’s children at Fifth Third Bank, 4128 Hoover Rd., Grove City; envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
