Steven Andrew Harris

Steven A. Harris, age 19, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Steven was a 2016 graduate of Dublin Jerome High School and was currently enrolled at Columbus State University. Steven was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature, hiking and snowboarding. He had a passion for the creative arts, especially photography, drawing and playing his guitar. His family and friends will miss his sense of humor, compassion and inclusive spirit. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Robert Harris; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Allan Galpin; and paternal grandfather, Albert Harris. Steven is survived by his mother, Kathryn Galpin Harris; two brothers, David Allan Harris and Michael Galpin Harris; paternal grandmother, Martha Harris; aunts and uncles including Elizabeth Fiordalis, Mary and Tom Mulcahy, Joanne and Ross Galpin, Kristine and Kenny Collier, Margaret and Mark Sharff, Mary and Stephan Wilder, Molly Harris and many cousins. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28 at UPPER ARLINGTON LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2300 Lytham Rd. Columbus, OH 43220. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at UPPER ARLINGTON LUTHERAN CHURCH with Pastor Paul Ulring officiating. Reception at the church will immediately follow the service. Private interment at Union Cemetery.
