Sue Conway

Sue E. Conway entered eternal rest on August 31, 2025, with her husband of 59 years and her beloved cat by her side. Her death was preceded by her parents, Karl and Flora Parshall. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Conway, brother David Parshall, and children Karen Jussel (Jeff), Patricia Cline (Maurice) and Daniel Conway (Adrienne). Sue also has 5 grandchildren, Tyler Ryan, Hannah French (Johnathan), Justin Jussel, Nathan James, and Devon James.

Sue was born on September 7, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, where she spent her childhood and college years before moving to Colorado in the early 1960’s. She met her forever love working for Western Electric and they married on October 23, 1965. Colorado was her home for over 40 years where she raised her children and was an exceptional homemaker and seamstress. In 2005, Sue and Ken moved to Casa Grande, Arizona to enjoy the warm weather and lack of snow. From there they set out on the road and explored all corners of the country in their RV, and Sue spent countless hours researching and documenting her family’s genealogy. Sue enjoyed her final years peacefully reading books with Missy on her lap.

Burial services will take place on September 18, 2025 at 11:30AM, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Columbus, Ohio, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children (https://donate.lovetotherescue.org).
