Susan Beth Adams

Susan Beth Adams, age 60, of Dublin passed away on December 30, 2011, at her home following an 18-month battle against cancer. Susan was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 30, 1951, and preceded in death by father, Albert “Elmer” Fritts. Susan is survived by a host of loving family members and friends including her devoted husband Dennis R. Adams; mother, Virginia (Robert) Flora; step-children, Julie Adams of Chicago, Kelly (Edward) Sasak of Parma, Ohio and Brian Adams of Vancouver British Columbia; and, brother Gregory Bruce (Ann) Fritts, and nephew Casey Adam Fritts, of Clearwater, Florida. Susan was a graduate of Springfield Northeastern High School, class of 1970. She was a dedicated and loyal employee at Mt. Carmel Hospital West in Radiation Therapy for over 36 years. Susan was also a member of Indian Run United Methodist Church. Sue lived to love her cats and family and enjoyed reading, exercise and life, which she fought fearlessly to preserve. She was caregiver who gave much to humanity through her care and attention to the thousands of cancer patients she fought for over her 36 years in the profession. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at 12 pm at the Indian Run United Methodist Church, 6305 Brand Road, Dublin, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 11am until the time of the service.
